GoDocs for Google Drive & Google Docs App Reviews

Every time I try to use this app, Im asked to enter my account information, and then it tells me I have enter "incorrent" info. It does not give me the option to create an account or provide any other help. USELESS.

At this point I feel completely taken. You cant edit your Google spreadsheets and they are completely reformatted illegibly with taller rows and smaller fonts.

Is it so difficult to develop a comprehensive document reader that works? Apparently so. This program wont open downloaded PDFs, despite the promise to do so. When I click the button to open in another program, it crashes. Pity that Pages is so useless, else I could read PDFs with it. It still surprises me that of all tablets, The iPad seems to have the most trouble with the PDF. So far QuickOffice seems to be the best return on the investment, although its way overpriced.

I purchased this to be able edit spreadsheets as their advertising promised. It is terrible!!! Doesnt come anywhere close to doing what it promised. Keep your money and just use the Safari browser. Reached out to support and got no reply.

I cant believe this. It can download and view but has NO edit functionality. If you want to edit, it just kicks you over to the regular Google Docs web site!!! I feel like Ive been ripped off!

I was very disappointed to learn that this app is nothing more than an offline viewer. You cant edit within the app... It just takes you to the browser version of google docs to edit! Save your money.

Completely useless.

To say the app fully supports editing spreadsheets online gives way to much credit to the developers, who have chosen simply to link the "edit" button in the app to the URL of the document on Google. Technically Safari for iPad supports editing just as fully and it doesnt cost $4.99. I even had to sign into Google because the app didnt use the profile it asked me to create for signing into my Google account.

GoDocs is a glorified wrapper for Safari. It doesnt provide any enhancement to document editing and only lets you view cached docs offline If you want offline reading spend your 4.99 on GoodReader.

This app is not worth any money.

All I wanted was an offline reader, and this app was fine, if a little glitchy, until the last update. Now every time I try to load a document over 200 B, that I already have cached, it closes itself after a few seconds. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling it, and updating my phone and its still not running properly.

It wont let me create a new or edit an old document because I couldnt create a new document I failed my grade 12 la class because I needed to make a new essay!!!

The program work ok for me the only default id not to move or create new folder, the passcode feature is usefull gor business use

Please dont buy this app, it is garbage, no use at all. Go to google spreadsheet is even much more faster and convenient than this App. I would not take it even it is free. Jacky Liu

Just bought this app as I am trying to find something to manage my Google Docs. Have only done a quick run on it but already I see good and bad The good is the folder management looks nice and the drop down menus when you hold press on a document has a lot of options The bad. I was excited when the desktop edit option popped up. On other apps it fails. However I cannot get the keyboard to pop up which makes it quite useless. Also, select is painful. Good start, and I will not regret the $5 as I presume the keyboard bug will be fixed in double quick time

Very slow to fix obvious problems. When I really needed this to work it didnt, it had promise but didnt fullfill. I will bever use this app again. Its like they dont test their product.

Although the UI is beautiful and works very well, the editing doesnt work. The desktop view simply doesnt allow editing, and the mobile view is crappy. I just wasted 5$.

The problem with this App is that it doesnt let you edit Google Documents. It is just a glorified document manager and dumps you to the standard Google web interface if you want to edit - something that you can already get for free. Disappointing!

Spreadsheets now open in this 3.2.1 version. Docs open without unlines.

Nope. It wont allow me to upload files to my google apps account. So its a useless app to me. $5 down the drain.
