This app is garbage, it says that you can create and modify documents you cant. Waste of $5, reimbursement please!

I can’t seem to conjure the aforementioned support of this program through an iPad Air. Obviously tech is not the issue here, as the iPad is fine and new. The edit functionality - if important to you - is weaker than weak. It utilizes an applet taken directly from a browser running Google Docs, so it shouldn’t be rocket science enabling the functionality. There is no .doc or .docx support other than view mode. It offers a mobile and desktop layout of the googledocs processor, and both have major issues. The mobile version has an overactive keyboard that jumps out at you each time you move the screen - oh, and the entire worksheet bounces around the screen as this happens, so you can forget a smooth working experience. The desktop edition can’t seem to open anything, period, so that narrows the options down a good bit. Signing into multiple accounts is quite nice, I’m sure, but I only use one. So when you happen to check the account page in GoDocs but have no other account to sign in with, well, you’re stuck, as there is no back, or cancel, or return function on the menu. I hope googledocs saves automatically because that requires a manual double home tap and shutdown of the program. Amateur coding and layout issue. Embarrassing even. The app other than that looks wonderful and operates very smoothly, I just suspect that maybe some of these college IT boys forgot their first classes that teach functionality over form.

I use google drive every day. This app saved tones of my time and nerves.

New background refresh is Awesome! Its so great that developers are constantly improving the app. GoDocs is the best, one-for-all tasks, google drive app.

It is constantly "loading" to the point that it is unusable. I am connected to a fast wifi so I dont think it is a connection issue. It happens every time I open the app and try to do something within the app. I am seeing this loading circle and the app is not responding for like 10 minutes, then when it seems to be over and the app is working normally it happens again... Please fix it!!! P.S. I noticed that it happens only to my google apps account where I have a large number of files (several thousand). The app works well with my personal google account where I have only several dozen flies... If you have a large number if files you better wait until the issue is fixed. In addition this is made worse by the fact that the app loads all files that are shared with you, even if they are not added to "My Drive". In my company we have permission to access a lot of files shared in our domain, while they are not in My Drive - GoDocs syncs them anyway. I think that it will make a lot of sense to make it an optional for at least two reasons: - avoid performance issues - spare your iPad/iPhone disk space for the files you dont need I hope developers will listen to this

If you can finally get this app to stop "loading" you end up with a bunch of files that have to be individually synchronized. Once you get past that hurdle, there are no instructions on how to make changes to your document. Not user friendly at all. I havet figured out what this paid app does that goes above and beyond the gdrive app. I want my money back!

I purchased this app in order to edit Google Docs while on the go. (The Google Drive app doesn’t do a great job with my bluetooth keyboard case) This app is constantly updating and loading. Granted I have a large number of files in the cloud. It seems to function like a web browser that connects to your document. Scrolling and inputing anything is impossible. Does not work with my keyboard… very disappointed! I would not purchase again.! Stay away!

This app is useful to easily access docs on a mobile device in so intuitive way. I would like to have more editing features, but any way Ill give my 5 stars preemptively.

If you have any number of docs and the app will stall on launch and not let you use it until it loads all files. Compare this to the google drive app and you see the problem in load times. I synced this app and then fully quit by swiping the app up. I also full quit the Google Drive. From launch to usable Google Drive took less than four seconds. GoDocs took 7 min 5 seconds. That is dysfunctional. Sync is not needed for all docs. Id rather have it on demand. Succeed and you have the best advance feature google drive app. Fail to resolve this and you have the worst. Settings: Off - Sync on Launch Off - Auto Synchronization On iCloud Settings sync Off - Background App Refresh

What a waste of $4.99. This app takes forever to load (if it ever stops). I bought it to allow me to edit and create documents for GoogleDocs. I have yet to accomplish this. There is no effective documentation to assist with using the app. When I tried getting support they were useless. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

There is a bug opening spreadsheets. Program crashes on iPhone after new spreadsheet is created. There is a bug editing newly created spreadsheets.

...you realize you cant edit. Very, very disappointing

GoDocs used to be my go to for editing and updating spreadsheets. Ive had problems with other versions before, constantly trying to log me in without allowing me to log in, making me log in everytime I want to edit. At this point, with the most recent update, its just getting annoying. Any document I try to open, it gives me a big, red flag that states the file is broken. When I log onto my Drive via the computer , it looks perfectly fine. Please fix it! Any of the Google products my apps suggest, havent done what I want to do (even though they say they can)!! I just want to edit via my phone or iPad, when in a pinch!

You cant edit on any apps except google docs but even then you cant view your presentations
